Правиловая система машинного перевода ЭТАП-3: опыт разработки и некоторые уроки

По наводке itman сходил на семинар в Яндекс (встретились с dimonbb, с которым мы работали ещё в iso.ru).
Очень понравилось. Перед семинаром покопался в интернете, прочёл давнишние лекции Леонида Лейбовича, что помогло в восприятии семинара.
К сожалению, уверенности в том, что исходные файлы (код и данные) проекта ЭТАП-3 будут доступны общественности (чтобы кто-угодно мог взять их и использовать у себя под свободной лицензией на радость другим), нет.
Но жизнь на этом не заканчивается.
Я полон мыслей и надежд.

Этот проект - намного круче того, что мне требуется в моём проекте, но я не могу воспользоваться этими наработками... :-(

А переводит, по-моему - не так уж и плохо по-современным меркам для некоммерческой системы автоматического перевода.

Ну, сложно судить. Я вовсю пользуюсь гугловским автопереводом (автомагически в хроме). Понять автоперевод всегда можно. Дальше вопрос в деталях. Мне показалось, что этот делает перевод немного более акуратно. Но я всего-ничего опробовал.

К сожалению, (и это было сказано на лекции) эта система перевода очень чувствительна к правильности не только грамматики, но и пунктуации.
Шаг влево, шаг вправо - и вся автоматика летит к чертям!
Но!!! Там есть возможность "снять с автопилота" и спросить у оператора ответы на самые наиболее спорные моменты. Хотя, если оригинал - не твой родной язык, то тебе это вряд ли поможет... :-(
Зато - поможет, если ты оригинал знаешь!
